First Generation

1. James Maitland 7th Earl, son of Charles Maitland 6th Earl and Lady Elizabeth Ogilvie, was born on 23 Jan 1718 of Halton and died on 17 Aug 1789 in Halton, Midlothian at age 71.

James married Mary Turner Lombe, daughter of Thomas Lombe, on 24 Apr 1749 in Merton, Surrey. Mary was born in 1734 and died on 20 Jul 1789 in Hatton at age 55.
