This lineage is clear and helpful,but I am confused by what you have recorded for Edward (1561-1612) and his marriage to Elizabeth Chambernolone. William Seymour (1580-1655) is my ancestor through Florentius and I have been trying to sort this all out. Do you have documentation of this relationship?

Elizabeth Champernowne is definitely not the wife of Edward (1561-1612). I accidentally added her as his 2nd wife which she certainly was not! I have amended the spelling of her name and I have made other amendments to the Post in general. I am very grateful indeed for your kind observation. I commend you to Craycroft's Peerage for Consultation. More amendments here may yet be necessary. I observe that the number of wives and children, some with the same Christian names from a 2nd marriage does indeed complicate the relationships! - Gilly
