My brother, Michael J. Wood, Genealogist, London has turned up a couple of our Sherman Ancestor's Descendants who had rather Unusual Claims To Fame.

2. For Heritage of Chris Spurling who created The Hoax Photo of the Loch Ness Monster See:-

William Elliston (1710-1767)
John Spurling (1792-1872) - (Chris Spurling was born 1904, and died 1993).
Chris created in 1934 the model in the hoax photo of the Loch Ness Monster on the instigation of his stepfather, which was not revealed until 1975.
