Years later while I was in  Bognor Regis on my own  I stayed in my caravan at Riverside Caravan Park and during  my stay my relative Mrs. Johnson visited me in my caravan.  And hereby hangs another tale of curious

coincidence.

(My father was  Lionel Johnson Wood and my oldest brother is Michael Johnson Wood,  thus our Johson heritage carried down the Johnson name through our generation by way of a middle name and it transpires that our Johnson heritage was shared also; details of which will

will remain private.

Ken was a quiet, modest and extremely erudite gentleman. He had a remarkably wide general knowledge.

In the Royal Navy he served on the Cotswold.   He was a respected Engineer. and he worked on a number of important projects. 

He died in New Zealand at the age of 87. 

Ken collaborated with me in researching our heritage providing useful information including many photographs and documents together with names and dates confirming important leads.

I have documented these and presented them as a Tribute.  Ken was a very dearly loved friend indeed but not as some believed ever my lover!
